Post Idol

• Pickler appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on April 27, 2006 where she spun the "Wheel of Consolation." Her possible rewards were; a cameo in a Hollywood picture, a guest appearance in a U2 video, or her own NBC show. Pickler asked Leno what a cameo was, and why free shoes weren't among the possible prizes. Pickler won her very own NBC show, which ended up being the DVD of Celebrity Cooking Showdown.

• On April 28, 2006 Pickler appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

• On May 1, 2006 Pickler appeared on Live with Regis and Kelly. She sang "Walkin' After Midnight." She also appeared on MTV's Total Request Live and The Ellen Degeneres Show.

• On May 2, 2006 Pickler appeared on Fox & Friends.

• On May 3, 2006 Pickler appeared on Live with Regis and Kelly. She had her hair cut and styled on the show by Oscar Blandi.

• On May 6, 2006 Pickler returned to her hometown of Albemarle, NC for a parade and a reunion with her father. She received a key to the city from the mayor of Albemarle, NC. The mayor also proclaimed May 6, 2006 as Kellie Pickler Day. Pickler also received numerous awards from local and statewide government officials praising her accomplishments as a contestant on the American Idol television show. Her involvement with the top-rated Fox show (24-30 million viewers weekly) has brought economic growth to the area of Albemarle.

• In a poll on americanidol.com, a vote was taken and Kellie was voted most likely to have the most fame after leaving American Idol.

• Pickler appeared on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on June 7, 2006 as a special correspondent on the red carpet at the 2006 "MTV Movie Awards".
